With more than 40 employees worldwide, we are positioned uniquely to develop and deploy projects across a wide swathe of technologies and industries. We integrate our decarbonization solutions with innovative technologies to address existing problems and bottlenecks. This provides various co-benefits and ensures that scaling up is as seamless as possible.
ACM stores carbon for long periods. We operate a biochar plant in the Philippines and work on agriculture, forestry, and land-use projects in Southeast Asia. We plan to expand our biochar work in the region, using agricultural waste for pyrolysis and gasification.
ACM invested in global carbon avoidance projects including renewable fuel for clean cooking stoves, and sustainable biomass for heat production.
ACM is collaborating with Gold Standard and Climate Impact X to develop and implement the world’s first voluntary scheme encouraging fuel switching – from fossil fuels to sustainable biofuels – in the maritime sector. The shipping industry contributes to roughly 3% of global GHG emissions and is a hard to abate sector, which we believe needs to be properly incentivized to make meaningful reductions in their carbon footprint.
