The methodology is applicable to projects that involves biofuel and bio-bunker blending to reduce GHG emissions by displacing traditional fossil bunkers for use in sea vessels. The methodology functions within the voluntary carbon market ecosystem and complements, but does not replace, mandatory decarbonization initiatives undertaken by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
ACM is also in collaboration with Singapore-based Climate Impact X to provide local players with accessible carbon credits generated from this methodology. Please reach out for more information on how ACM can get your biofuel blending efforts registered within the voluntary carbon market space with Gold Standard.
Collaborating is in our nature
ACM is keen to explore further applications of biochar – please feel free to contact us to discuss novel applications (both commercial and research!) of our unique biochar.
